Regensburg bullpen — The Legionäre relievers kept the game within reach after the starter departed, but the offence could not capitalise. For the Legionäre, the task is clear: rediscover the offensive rhythm that powered them through the regular season and to a quarterfinal sweep, or face the prospect of flying to Hamburg needing to win three straight.

Hamburg executed a near-perfect road playoff game plan — strong starting pitching, enough timely hitting, and a bullpen that locked things down when it mattered.
