San Marino seized control immediately despite missing captain Marlin, sidelined with a wrist injury suffered in Game 6. With two outs in the bottom of the first, Ademar Rifaela doubled and scored on Gabriel Lino's single off Bologna starter Josue Bermudez — 1-0.

Bologna threatened in the second, loading the bases against Angelo Palumbo. But the San Marino starter battled back from a 3-0 count to strike out young Almonte, escaping unscathed. The Titani made Bologna pay in their half of the inning. With two out, Martini walked, Colmenares singled, and Diaz punched an RBI single. Bologna opted to intentionally walk Wong — starting in Marlin's place — to load the bases, but Angulo punished the decision with a two-run single. San Marino led 4-0.

Bologna got one back in the fourth when Magalotti singled off reliever Mendez to score Liberatore, who had reached on an error. That was as close as the visitors would get.

The decisive blow came in the fifth. Wong walked, and after Angulo flied out, Rifaela reached on a fielder's choice. Lino singled, Magnani walked, and Guevara cleared the bases with a double. Even after Bologna turned to reliever Palmero, the runs kept coming: Martini singled, and Diaz tripled. Six runs crossed the plate. San Marino led 10-1.

Guevara added a two-RBI single in the sixth to make it 12-1. Bologna scraped four runs in the seventh, capped by Liberatore's two-run double, to reach the final 12-5 margin. Leal entered from the San Marino bullpen and closed the door on the Fortitudo's final threat.

The intentional walk to Wong in the second inning backfired catastrophically. Bologna elected to put the San Marino batter on first to load the bases with two outs, but Angulo immediately followed with a two-run single. That decision turned a 2-0 game into a 4-0 deficit, and Bologna never recovered.

Yosvany Guevara (San Marino) — The offensive MVP of the night. His bases-clearing double in the fifth inning effectively ended the game, and he added a two-RBI single in the sixth for a five-RBI performance, as confirmed by FIBS.

Randy Diaz (San Marino) — Delivered a clutch RBI single in the second and a two-run triple in the fifth, driving the dagger deeper.

San Marino advances to the Italian Baseball Series for the eighth year running, where they will face Parma Clima. Parma secured their spot on Sunday by eliminating Hotsand Macerata 4-2 in the other semifinal. Game 1 of the championship series is set for Thursday, August 27 at Parma's Stadio Nino Cavalli (20:00 CET), with full coverage on RAI channels.
