Cleveland Guardians vs Kansas City Royals

Wacha's performance was the kind of start that can define a down-ballot Cy Young case: 18 quality starts, an AL-leading mark, and a scoreless eight-inning masterpiece against a division rival that had won seven straight. Kansas City's late-season surge is real, even if the standings gap is too wide to close. Cleveland will need to rediscover its offensive rhythm in a hurry against Lynch on Saturday.
