Mineros’ 26-point first quarter represented their highest-scoring opening period of the two-game series. By contrast, Dorados managed just 13 points in Q1 — a mirror image of their 35-10 first-quarter blitz in Game 1. The 26-13 margin in Q1 was effectively the game; Dorados won the other three quarters cumulatively 69-66, but the opening deficit proved insurmountable.

Dorados’ inability to string together defensive stops in the first and third quarters (conceding 26 in each) undermined their home-court advantage. Mineros shot efficiently from mid-range and converted second-chance opportunities, while Dorados struggled to generate consistent offence without a primary go-to scorer.

Mineros improved to 9-7 on the LNBP 2026 season, splitting the two-game road series in Chihuahua after dropping Game 1 by 24 points. Dorados fell to 10-6, having won five of their previous six before the series split.
